States celebrates the 226th anniversary of the day
Independence was declared. Americans celebrate with
revelry, picnics, speeches, parades,
"fly-overs" by military jets, and fireworks.
We're proud of what we've accomplished in a relatively
short period of history. Although I am a second
generation American, I feel the heritage and pride of
more than two centuries of the blood, sweat and
commitment of those who came before me. After visiting
other countries I appreciate even more what the freedoms
we sometimes take for granted mean. If you haven't taken
time to reflect on those freedoms why not take a few
moments today to reflect on your nation, and it's
accomplishments. Have a FANTASTIC INDEPENDENCE DAY
