Truth In
Advertising?
Many politicians want
to dump the penny because it's worthless in today's economy.
Oil is selling at $126.00 per barrel yet oil company's are still using 9/10 of a

If the penny is worthless then why are gas stations still using the 9/10 of a
penny signs?
When gas was 17 cents a gallon it made sense. But in today's economy?
Q: Why do gas stations always show their prices as

A: The Gasoline and Automotive Service
Association
says using nine-tenths as part of the price of gas is a marketing

sign.
